Normal Safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival - Port Elizabeth Airport Guests will be met at the Port Elizabeth
Airport upon arrival by their Professional Hunter. When you arrive at Port
Elizabeth Airport, we will travel to the hunting camp which are about a 2 hour
drive from the airport. For guests arriving later than 19:00, we suggest you
sleep o ver in Port Elizabeth at a Guest House we will arrange. We shall then
depart for the 1st day of hunting early the next morning.
Days hunting: On a typical hunting day will start off with a small continental
breakfast with cereals, yogurt, juice, cofee, tea and rusks. We will then leave
for the days hunting. The hunting normally continue untill about 10:00, at this
time we will enjoy either a packed lunch from the lodge, a meal prepared in the
veld or we will return to the lodge for a brunch. The hunt will then continue
until sunset, when we will travel back to our lodge. Upon arrival, Annalie and
the staff will have a delicious home cooked meal prepared.
Hunting methods vary from walking and stalking or using look-out points from
where we glass and ambush animals. This will all depent on the preferences of
the client. For bow hunting clients we will hunt from out well hidden bow
blinds, usualy situated near a water hole so we can get very close to the
animals. Observers are welcome to accompany the hunters on the hunt. Should the
observers be interested in doing some sight seeing in the near by areas, this
can be arranged at an extra cost. An additional cost is incurred because we have
to send a dedicated guide to take care of observers. On the typical safari
observers normally prefer to accompany hunters which does not incur any
additional charges.
Day of departure: After breakfast we travel to Port Elizabeth. If time alows it,
depending on the time of your flight, we can do some curio shopping before your
flight departs.
